Salauddin Tapu

Hi, I am Salauddin Tapu. I am currently pursuing my masters at Gachon University, Seongnam, South Korea. I am working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Energy Conversion Materials and Systems (ECMS) Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Jongkuk Ko. I joined the ECMS Lab in Spring 2026. My current research focuses on robotics and actuation systems, with particular interests in intelligent robotic platforms, autonomous systems, and robot design.

I completed my B.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Khulna University, Bangladesh. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Uzzal Biswas. My undergraduate thesis, Prediction of Arrhythmia after Acute Myocardial Infarction Using Machine Learning and Statistical Techniques, explored the application of machine learning and statistical methods for predicting cardiac arrhythmia from clinical data. This work sparked my interest in applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world engineering problems.

My long-term research interest lies in intelligent robotics and swarm intelligence. I aspire to develop autonomous robotic systems that can perceive their environment, collaborate with one another, and make collective decisions to accomplish complex tasks efficiently. Ultimately, I hope to contribute to the advancement of next-generation robotic systems by integrating robotics, artificial intelligence, and multi-agent intelligence for real-world applications.
